In this post we will be sharing all the interesting facts in view of the Indian bridal makeup trends 2013. An Indian bride has been each single time known for her charming looking and elegant looking personality. Every single year all the brides are getting even more and more striking looking and this has been just made possible because of the bridal makeup trends that are improving each year. In Indian fashion trends the brides make the huge use of the red color makeup that symbolizes their personality and character. But now such time has been passed when the brides used to fill their faces with the maximum red makeup applications. In this post we are pasting few pictures of Indian bridal makeup trends 2013. In these pictures the women can view out that maximum brides have been favored with the light and soft makeup that is appearing as natural looking and simple or them. The eye shadows are kept as little bit glittering and shimmering for them along with the touch of gloss as well. According to the Indian bridal makeup looks 2013 the main lipstick colors are red and light pink ones.

So this was all about the Indian bridal makeup trends 2013. We hope that this post would have given much information in view of the Indian makeup trends.his blog post isn’t necessarily limited to bridal make-up but is more my top pick of easy products that give a pretty look that’s easy to create in a matter of minutes and suitable for a day at the beach.
1. Tinted moisturiser or BB cream: These are perfect for evening out the skin tone without the need for heavier foundation. One of my favourites is Laura Mercier, whichever one you choose just make sure it has SPF in it too.
2. Cream eyeshadow: I couldn’t live without Mac paint pots! I apply it with a flatish brush and blend it out with a fluffy brush but you could even apply them with your finger and they’re water resistant too.
3. Waterproof mascara go to two coats for big lashes.
4. Cream blusher: For a flush of natural colour, apply this with fingers onto apples of the cheeks and pat into the skin.
5. Sheer lipstick or stain: this season I’m using Dior Addict a lot (as you can see in my last post!) I love that it gives great colour but the texture is quite sheer and soft.
We are firm believers that you can change up your look with just one simple tweak. Today we’re turning to eye liner for a little makeover inspiration. Check out what a simple flick of the pencil (or liner brush) can do, as modeled on some of our favorite Hollywood beauties.
If you want to go a little bolder without thickening the line, follow Brandy’s lead by outlining the entire eye, even going as far as the inner corners. This small difference really highlights the shape of the eye.
When you’re wearing a bold lip, like Gwen Stefani’s signature red, the eyes shouldn’t be the focus. But skipping eye liner entirely can make your face look a little naked. Instead, apply liner along the top lash line and finish with a smudge of eye shadow on the lower lash line to add definition.
We love the cat eye that Naya Rivera modeled above. Unlike other versions, this was done using a powder liner so it’s less bold and looks more natural, elongating the lashes.
Colored eye liner is daring, but when applied with a light touch, the look becomes easier to pull off. Emma Stone’s shimmery blue liner works because of its clean, not-too-smoky shape.
Shimmer applied at the inner corner of the eye has become a staple. So why not dab shimmer along the entire bottom lash line like Carly Rae Jepsen did at the American Music Awards? The gold brightened the entire eye and added interest to an otherwise neutral makeup look.
One of the many things I love about working with makeup is its transformative power; its ability to completely change a face -- or body in some cases -- whether the results are glamorous or grotesque. Whilst makeup is most often used to accentuate a woman's natural beauty or make an artistic, colorful statement, it can also be used to portray a completely different persona. Contemporary artist Cindy Sherman is a woman who has manipulated makeup to her advantage in her work. Her retrospective, on view at New York's MoMA through 2012, features a staggering array of images Sherman created by dressing as women of every age and from every conceivable era, along with the occasional man or otherworldly creature. The images she has created with makeup and a little help from costumes, wigs, lighting and photo effects are often disturbing but always transfixing.

One of the most powerful methods of transforming a face is to manipulate the brows. By emphasizing or covering and then redefining a brow we can create looks that range from ethereal to sinister. Sherman used this technique to great effect, employing full brows to signal youth and an exaggerated unibrow to create a threatening countenance in her clown series. In reality, full brows are staging a serious comeback for spring/summer 2012, and Sherman's portraits are evidence that a strong, well-tended brow is a powerful marker of youth.

Contouring is another makeup artist tool that played a starring role in Sherman's work. While I've long lauded contouring as the secret to runway-worthy bone structure, it can also be used for less flattering purposes. Sherman employed extreme contouring in her series of society women, giving them the appearance of haggard and world-weary victims of heavily applied makeup doing more harm than good. In one especially arresting image there appears to be two women, one about 20 years older than the other. Both are actually Sherman, but the use of dark colors on the eyes and lips and heavy contouring easily add two decades. Talk about disturbing! Note to (your) self: keep your contours strategically placed and most importantly well-blended to keep your look fresh and flattering. I created my Ultimate Contour Palette to take the guesswork out of finding the right shades and textures for a flawless finish.

In Sherman's most recent portraits she went barefaced, using digital manipulation to change her look. It's astounding just how much a tweak of the nose or virtual plumping of the lips can change your whole appearance. Of course in real life, makeup remains the most foolproof and fastest way to alter your look. Some key takeaways from Sherman's portraits: the art of concealment around the eyes is an eternal refresher, use contouring for good and not evil, and and above all else, avoid harsh lines around the lips and eyes they add decades in an instant. At times, YouTube has provided honest reviews for products I responsibly weighed buying. It has also turned me on to indie makeup brands before they hit Sephora. Most of the time, though, I end up filling my drawers with junk I wouldn’t have bought were it not for a video: Lip colors I know will wash me out; mascaras from brands I don’t like; hair products not designed for my pixie cut.

By responsibly doing my work—right now, watching videos is my job—I wind up with “Oh crap, what did I buy?” regret after every trip to Rite Aid. When I buy high-end products at Sephora, the guilt multiplies.
After watching and dissecting hundreds of them, I figured, the videos would be powerless over me. Turns out I’m still a sucker. Product recommendations weasel into the dark corners of my brain. I am subliminally controlled by teenagers in Arkansas and Ontario.

A few purchases from the past two weeks:
Maybelline Color Whisper in “Oh La Lilac,” $8.43 These lipsticks are popular on YouTube right now, even though no one seems to like them very much. I think people just enjoy saying the name—”color whisper.” I bought the lilac one based off a review by a Canadian guru. I don’t like her taste in makeup, clothes, or hair, yet when I saw this product at Rite Aid I thought to myself, “Hmm, I remember someone telling me to buy this.” Way to go, lizard brain. The lipstick is not great—barely noticeable and short-lived on lips. Good for wearing to work, or at least I imagine it would be as someone who works from bed.As an obsessed Bride-zilla, its always a good idea to keep some reference shots of Indian bridal makeup you like (In my case, its even more important because iv booked my makeup artist without a trial. I do have a trial with her – but thats just 4 days before the wedding- ahh the perils of an outstation marriage.). Every Makeup Artist has a distinct style so its always helpful to let them know what you expect out of them. For example, even though my lehenga is red and blue im sure i DONT want red lipstick and i DONT want multicolored eyeshadows and i DONT want overly dramatic kathakali dancer eyes. (This has been drilled into my makeup artists brain so much, i think iv made a tiny hole in it!). But what about what i do want…its a lot harder to explain that in words so i shall do it picturesOodles of false lashes, and an eggplant color on the eyes with a natural, glistening lip ensures this Indian Bride looks perfectly put together!! I ADORE this look, the eyes are smokey bu not heavy, and the makeup makes her brown eyes stand out more. The lipstick perfectly complements the outfit too. This look is done by Delhi based bridal makeup artist Chandni Singh
Iv been carrying a picture of this indian bride’s makeup in my wallet wherever i go. Im sure her husband doesnt approve of that but i love the dewy cheeks here, i absolutely love the peachy natural lipstick, and the soft eyes!!! This one is by bridal makeup artist Shalini Singh
Remember the dream wedding video i showed you of Nisha and Jiten’s wedding?? (I dont really know them, i just found thei video online and loved it). I also loved Nisha’s makeup, which was not necessary traditionally bridal but it totally worked!. It was a bright pink lipstick, which contrasted beautifully against her stunning green Tarun Tahiliani blouse, paired with an understated bronze eye!
I dont know if this is Genelia’s actual bridal makeup or some Film shoot, but i love that despite wearing red, she as a bride has on a neutral lipstick with her lehega. I also like that the makeup is really subtle overall but still qualifies as bridal thanks to the gold on the eyes- love that blush too!
I think South Indian Brides look great in smokey eyes. I like how this makeup look has a smokey eye paired with a lip thats not exactly understated, but the overall effect is still not too overdone.
Another south indian bride there ! I dont like the foundation (patchy hello!), but i love the eyes, that gold is just GLOWING! Plus even though there is a tiny bit of red used on the crease, its not like overload of red on the eyes (Something a lot of indian brides tend to do- red red, all over- you would think they were Santa Claus or something. Except they dont come bearing gifts, and they are without a beard( well almost all of them).Brides wanting to stay true to tradition by wearing pure silk sarees, temple jewellery, and adorning themselves with jasmine flowers struggle to add in a modern touch.  The key to not looking like you jumped back into your mother's era is to offset all that with clean, modern make-up!
