Depilex Bridal Makeup Biography

Depilex is one of the top leading names of such stylists’ corner, and Musarrat Misbah, is the name behind this big beauty salon. Stylist Musarrat Misbah brought some revolution in the scenario, with the launch of Depilex. Stylist Musarrat Misbah has got proper training of make-up and beauty therapy.I've always wanted to open up a men's salon but because of my busy and hectic schedule, somehow this project was being delayed. Just as with Depilex women feel comfortable that here there would be no men, I always had this concept that men's salon would be separate and when I got this opportunity, we opened it. It is on a separate premises with highly qualified "bachas". We haven't got barbers.

The response has been very well because of the reason that be it the skin of a man or a woman the problems are the same. The problem with men is that they feel shy. But now things have changed. Men want to have healthy skin and body and they are becoming conscious of it.

So this idea is picking up?
Yes and I am glad because this shows that men are equally conscious of how they look. We offer image consultancy also. Our salon is hygienically clean with good environment and the results are amazing.

So now that you have a men's salon what about an Institute for men?
In the affiliation with Chechester College, there are courses for both men and women and we would soon be starting courses for them. Not only hairdressers and makeup artists but we would also be advancing in language, IT education and into different related fields like performing arts, photography, fashion journalism etc. for both men and women.

You've worked on models and actresses both which do you find easy to work with?
Now Depilex is at such a stage where there are no arguments. They just tell us about the scene, the requirement and ask us to do the makeup. Sometimes they even sleep during the whole thing because they are so tired. Its fun working with all these professional people.

Normally actresses have this image as if they have tantrums. But with me they are all very nice because they trust me. There are some times when they are difficult and are in a cranky mood. Or there are times when a lot many models or actresses are on the same show or program and then everyone wants to look better than the other.

I am dragged to corners just to be told "do my makeup better than her". They even hide their clothes so as the others don't know what they are wearing. I've noticed that sometimes the lack of professionalism doesn't only destroy the mood of the makeup artist but also the entire show. But overall its always been a pleasure working with them.

Any faces that you have loved working on?
I've worked with everybody. Even actresses like Nayyer Sultana and Madam Noor Jahan. To me no face is ugly. Make up is all about creating optical illusion and its up to a good make up artist to make it beautiful, fresh, glowing, glamorous, soft whatever the requirement is.

Being a mother of two, how do you manage?
I think being a professional woman, I am very organized. I have a list of priorities and I work accordingly. I'm a single parent so it is more difficult to manage all things single handedly but my children have always been very cooperative. I'm very proud of my children. My son is teaching at Indus Valley and my daughter is in 8th grade.

I've always gotten good support from them. If I am ever late, I compensate for that and they understand. When they were younger I always used to drop them to school no matter how tired I was because that 20 minutes drive gave me time with my children. Now when I go back home I always shut off from my work and then its me and my family.

You had a stint with acting too. How was it?
One of my plays was "Asaavri" and I did one or two other plays. It was a good experience.

Why didn't you continue?
Because it involves a lot of time and my business was expanding so it became very difficult for me. I fulfilled my long gone promise with Fatima Surraiya Bajia and did that play. If now I ever have time I would love acting again.

Who would you like to work with and which medium?
TV most definitely and would love to work with Moin Akhtar. I think there is this naughty side to me that wants to come out now. Before I grow old (laughs).

Your star?
Sagittarius

You seem to be a philanthropic?
I guess one becomes that when one gets old.

Down-to-earth and humble?
Why shouldn't I be? It's said "that the more fruitful a tree is the more it has to bend". If God has given you with many of his blessings and you have opportunities, then lets make life easier for other people. Everyone is accountable for his own deeds. No one has the right to judge a person.

What does style mean to you?
To me style is personality. It doesn't have to be fashion. It is something that brings out the best in you.

You admire?
My parents. I love them and I am at the stage when I make my own decisions but I love to take their blessings in whatever I do. I wish they live for 100 years and even more.

What is Mussarrat Misbah's secret?
Well I don't find myself above everyone else but yes distinct may be. I guess a positive approach towards life, loads and loads of faith and strength in Allah and having good friends and family around you. May be all these things help you and they did help me.

Future plans?
Open up a health resort I've been working on it for a number of years. My ambition is also to educate more girls in this field to help them so that they can stand on their feet and support their family members.

Then, I feel I should have proper finishing schools to set up here where there are not only trainings on how you look good but how you walk, talk; dress up, your manners, your etiquette. I want my children to grow up into good human beings which they are. And yes lots and lots and lots more.
www.mag4you.netWedding day is one of the most important days in one’s life; everyone wants to look best on their wedding day. Especially if we talk about girls they are much conscious about their dresses and make up.
Mostly girls prefer the Salon they used to go every time but the problem arises where the Bride has no previous experience of bridal make up. So selection of salon is the key step to have a best look. There are many bridal makeup salons running now days and most of them charge very high for best bridal make up in their salon.
