Stacie was working at the only beauty supply in the small town she grew up in. She quickly gained popularity in her small town to the point where people began to come in and ask for her by name to have their makeup done.

At 22 years of age, Stacie landed her first professional job as a Makeup Artist, working for “MAC” cosmetics.  The Manager told her that she was the first Artist hired without a professional background or portfolio.  Stacie’s combination of creative skill, charm and a bit of luck was the key to landing the position. “MAC” took Stacie under their wings and helped her to polish her craft.  Stacie was lucky enough to be trained by some of the best Artists in the industry.  She has been certified by “MAC” in various fields such as makeup technique, bridal, photography makeup, retro, high fashion and to provide lessons.

Stacie spent the next 10 years doing makeup professionally in a retail environment.  She worked at and coordinated countless in store makeup events.  Stacie then trained Artists for various top cosmetic companies.  Stacie was even offered a positions as a National Makeup Artist though she chose not to travel because her Son was young at the time.

All the while  Stacie was building her business as a Free Lance Artist on the side.   She worked doing makeup for weddings, events and fashion shows.  In 2002  “Makeup By Stacie”  was created and has allowed her to work independently.
